Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

Happy Winter Weather Safety and Awareness Week! Today, super cells and tornadoes.... but fall will be gone before we know it. The Portland, OR, Nat'l Weather Service forecast office has a nifty little website up with a different topic for each day to answer all those burning questions, like, what's the difference between a winter weather watch, advisory, warning and outlook? And, how badly will frostbite pwn my fingertips? And last but not least, how do I make sure I don't give myself carbon monoxide poisoning (hint: it involves not heating your home with a barbeque)?

Want to know what watches or warnings are up in your county? The local Nat'l Weather Service office (Seattle WFO, for example) always has that information.
